Stitch Fix # 21: December 2016

It's fix day!! My fix was scheduled to arrive on December 3rd but it arrived a day early! I had told Matthew that I was looking for something to wear to my husbands company Christmas party. Perhaps a cocktail dress and some strappy heels and I needed something warm to wear over the top as it's in the 30s this time of year. As usual, he delivered!

41Hawthorn Jace Embroidered Lace Dress - Matthew took some inspiration from some dresses I had pinned on my pinterest board to pull me the fit and flare style of this dress. It's beautiful!! I always think reds and golds for Christmas parties and completely forget about blues and silvers even though that's usually what I do my Christmas tree in. This dress is perfect!

Report Footwear Ladee Ankle Strap Heel - These heels match the Jace Dress perfectly and are totally comfortable. Great for any sort of party where you will be on your feet for a while.

T Tahari Gwenevere Wool Coat - This coat  is probably the warmest thing I've ever put on. I love the color and style of it. Its just a fun coat.

Outhouse Whitmore Bauble Stone Collar Necklace - I laughed when I seen the name of this. Outhouse, why would anyone name their company that? lol. Its such a cute necklace though and very versatile.

Matthew recommended pairing the dress, coat, necklace and shoes as a whole outfit for the Christmas party and I think its wonderful! Unfortunately, I just found out that his company will not be having a Christmas party this year :( As much as I love all the items, I can't justify keeping any of them as I don't know that I will ever have a reason to wear them :(

BRIXON IVY Fierro Elbow Patch Crew Neck Sweater - As I said before, I love lace. I can't help it. I had this sweater pinned and Matthew was able to snag it for me. Unfortunately, I bought it off the boards so I already had it.

The Breakdown if you’re following along, here is what I decided to keep from my November Stitch Fix shipment: Whitmore Bauble Stone Collar Necklace from Outhouse -- KEEP, Fierro Elbow Patch Crew Neck Sweater from BRIXON IVY -- RETURN, Jace Embroidered Lace Dress from 41Hawthorn -- RETURN,  Gwenevere Wool Coat from T Tahari -- RETURN, Ladee Ankle Strap Heels from Report Footwear -- RETURN

Stitch Fix # 20: November 2016

It's fix day!! My fix was scheduled to arrive on November 5th and as usual, it arrived 2 days early. I had told Matthew that I was hoping the holiday line had come in because I was wanting sparkle. Here's what he sent. :)

BRIXON IVY Arionna Embellished Neckline 2fer Dress - Matthew recommended I pair this with my Yosi Samra Serena Glitter Ballet Flats in silver from my last fix. They do pair well together. This dress is wonderful for an office job unfortunately, I don't have one of those (Maybe I should start looking for one).

Yosi Samra Serena Glitter Ballet Flats - Matthew sent these to me in silver for my last fix. I loved them so much that I asked for them in gold too. They are the cutest, most comfortable and believe it or not most versatile shoes I think I own. Oh yes, these are keepers!

Skies are Blue Winfield Embroidered Blouse - This top is so cute. I love the embroidered detail. Again, unfortunately, this is something I would wear if I had an office job. Its too delicate for me to war as an every day top and I likely wont reach for it for a going out top so, sad to say, it must go back.

BRIXON IVY Yuri Embellished Halter Blouse - I'm not much for halter tops usually but I really liked this. I love the sparkly detail around the neck and I think it's simple enough that it can be dressed up or down. I think it looks great paired with my Just Black Dean Ankle Zip Skinny Jeans from my very first fix.

41Hawthron Elah Slit Back Lace Detail Pullover - I love lace. I can't help it and this color is gorgeous!!

The Breakdown if you’re following along, here is what I decided to keep from my November Stitch Fix shipment: Arionna Embellished Neckline 2fer Dress from BRIXON IVY -- RETURN, Serena Glitter Ballet Flats from Yosi Samra -- KEEP, Winfield Embroidered Blouse from Skies are Blue -- RETURN,  Yuri Embellished Halter Blouse from BRIXON IVY -- KEEP, Elah Slit Back Lace Detail Pullover from 41Hawthron -- KEEP

Stitch Fix #19: October 2016

It's fix day!! My fix was scheduled to arrive on October 8th but it arrived 2 days early!! I had asked Kristen for some comfortable, baseball tee type shirts. I always read my note before looking at my items. I was so disappointed to read that Kristen is no longer styling for Stitch Fix. She had sent me so many 5/5's.

My new stylists name is Matthew and I think him and I are going to get a long just fine :)

41Hawthorn Frazier Ruched Front Pullover - I just love the color of this top! When I first pulled it out of the box I thought it was a little basic and boring, but after trying it on, I loved the way it fit. Plus it looked great with my Warp + Weft Chloe Slim Straight Leg Jeans from fix #14.

Raga Emoni Cold Shoulder Blouse - I had mentioned in my note that I wanted to give a cold shoulder top a try. The style card on this did not do it justice. I really like the print and love the sequin detail on this top. It's a bit more flowey than I like but think it will pair nicely with some shorts or capris.

Yosi Samra Serena Glitter Ballet Flats - I have had these pinned for a bit and I requested to try a pair of the Yosi Samra flats in my note. I am so glad Matthew was able to find a  pair in my size. These are the most comfortable flats ever. I had asked for either the silver or rose gold color. I de believe I'll be requesting the gold now that I own the silver! :)

Market & Spruce Jelina V Neck Knit Top - Again, I love the color on this top. I was a little worried about the waist on this as I have a larger booty but I think overall this fit well. It's a very light weight sweater and would be good for warmer days but also work well layering on cooler days.

Market & Spruce Canby Faux Suede Elbow Patch Knit Top - I love just about anything with elbow patches on it. Its a bit of a newer trend and I don't know how long it will be around but I cant help it, I love it!!

Overall, I'm pretty happy with Matthew's picks. I do believe I will keep him as my stylist, although I'm not sure that's the best thing for my bank account lol.

The Breakdown if you’re following along, here is what I decided to keep from my September Stitch Fix shipment: Frazier Ruched Front Pullover from 41Hawthorn -- KEEP, Emoni Cold Shoulder Blouse from Raga -- RETURN, Serena Glitter Ballet Flats from Yosi Samra -- KEEP,  Jelina V Neck Knit Top from Market & Spruce -- KEEP, Canby Faux Suede Elbow Patch Knit Top from Market & Spruce -- KEEP

Stitch Fix # 18: September 2016

This is probably the first fix that I have ever had that was on time. The rest have all been early :) I'm sure the Labor Day holiday had something to do with that. Either way, can't complain, right?

I had asked Kristen for some basic wardrobe essentials as well as some comfy (baseball tee style) tops.

Loveappella Carlota Lace Detail Hooded Knit Top - When I first pulled this out of the box I didn't love it. After trying it on, I changed my mind a bit. The fit is great and the lace detail is pretty cute. I think it looks great with the dark denim Just Black Dean Ankle Zip Skinny Jeans from my very first fix and black open toe booties.

Look by M Sammie Plaid Infinity Scarf - I've just recently started wearing scarfs. I typically just wear them as an accent piece as it doesn't really get too cold here. I love the print and colors of this once but I'm afraid it may be a bit too much for me.

Market & Spruce Dollie Tie Back Neck Knit Top - This is a super cute and casual top. The back detail is adorable and it's so comfy. Just not sure if the fit is right on me...

Tart Milla Crew Neck Knit Top - Love the comfyness of baseball tees and love stripes. Wasnt a fan of the mustard colored neck and sleeves but it's starting to grow on me. This just may be my favorite piece from this fix.

Just Black Addison Skinny Jean - I was a bit disappointed when I seen that these jeans were dark green colored. I just had no idea how to style jeans of that color. I did a little google search and came up with TONS of ideas. I really love the fit of these jeans just not too sure how long the colored denim trend will be in... :-/

The Breakdown if you’re following along, here is what I decided to keep from my September Stitch Fix shipment: Carlota Lace Detail Hooded Knit Top from Loveappella -- RETURN, Sammie Plaid Infinity Scarf from Look by M -- RETURN, Dollie Tie Back Neck Knit Top from Market & Spruce -- KEEP,  Milla Crew Neck Knit Top from Tart -- KEEP, Addison Skinny Jean from Just Black -- KEEP

Stitch Fix #17: August 2016

This is fix number 17 for me and I had asked Kristen for an all dress fix. I asked for cute, everyday type dresses. As usual, she delivered!

Gilli Sanora Knit Maxi Dress - I had this dress pinned. I had seen some ladies in the FB group get this dress and I just loved it. Although I was concerned it may be a bit too long on my 5'3" frame I still really wanted to give it  a try. I'm so glad Kristen was able to find it for me. I just love it. I put it on as soon as I opened my box and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too long on me. Although, I do think I should have it hemmed just a tad.
.

Skies are Blue Rylee Shirt Dress - I really liked the idea of this dress. Its super casual and can be worn every day but could also be dressed up a tad if need be. Unfortunately, I wasn't loving the cut on me. I find that mid length dresses just don't work very well for me. Maybe its because I'm sort, maybe it's because I have a short torso I don't know but they just don't do me any justice.

Loveappella Whitnee Knit Dress  - When I first seen this I thought leggings and riding boots. However, it's still summer here and 100 degrees so I needed to find something to make this work now. Although, don't think for a second I wont use the leggings and riding boots in the fall with this. I love it!!

41Hawthorn Keziah Shirt Dress - I was pretty unsure of this when I first seen it. I really didn't like the print. Once I tried it on my opinion changed a bit. I love the cut and I think it looks pretty good on me. Unfortunately  I can't get over the print and I'm afraid I just wont reach for it much. This may be one I regret sending back :-/

Market & Spruce Dafine Knit Maxi Dress - I have had the Gilli Mitchell Dress in Teal pinned forever. Kristen tried to use this as a substitution and although I can see why she sent it, it just wont work for me. It was just way too long and I don't love the print. Very cute dress, just not what I'm looking for.

The Breakdown if you’re following along, here is what I decided to keep from my August Stitch Fix shipment: Sanora Knit Maxi Dress from Gilli -- KEEP, Rylee Shirt Dress from Skies are Blue -- RETURN, Whitnee Knit Dress from Loveappella -- KEEP,  Keziah Shirt Dress from 41Hawthorn -- RETURN, Dafine Knit Maxi Dress from Market & Spruce -- RETURN

Stitch Fix #16: July 2016

This is fix number 16 for me and I had asked Kristen for some date night pieces. I was looking for some form fitting, sexy, cleavage showing type items.

Pixley Reynalda Corset Blouse - I love the color of this blouse. Kristen suggested pairing it with the Walt Skirt and I think they look pretty good together.
.

BRIXON IVY Cristen Shirt Dress - When I pulled this out of the box I just loved it. I love the cut but wasn't a big fan of the print. When I tried it on I was a bit undecided. My husband said it looked like a house coat :( I was on the fence with this one all the way till I checked out.

BRIXON IVY Ekland Lace Top  - I was pretty unsure about this top. I liked it after trying it on but just wasn't sure how often I would reach for it. Kristen suggested pairing it with my Warp + Weft Chloe Slim Straight Leg Jeans from fix #14. I think it would be a great top to throw on and go and still look like I put some effort into getting ready.

41Hawthorn Walt Skirt - I really liked this. I was a little worried about how high the waist is and how long it is on me but after pairing it with my Market & Spruce Jenson Embroidery Detail Top from fix #12 I really loved it! I think it will be a great basic/staple to pair with multiple pieces.

41Hawthorn Selfridge Cowl Neck Knit Top - Im really not a big fan of cowl neck items but I just love this. I love how it fits, I love the color, I just love it. I think this is my favorite piece from this whole fix. Now I cant wait for cooler weather to wear it.

The Breakdown if you’re following along, here is what I decided to keep from my July Stitch Fix shipment: Reynalda Corset Blouse from Pixley -- RETURN, Cristen Shirt Dress from BRIXON IVY  -- RETURN, Ekland Lace Top from BRIXON IVY -- RETURN,  Walt Skirt from S41Hawthorn -- KEEP, Selfridge Cowl Neck Knit Top from 41Hawthorn -- KEEP

Stitch Fix #15: June 2016

I received my usual "Have anything to tell your stylist" email the other day and as I was writing my note to Kristen I realized I never posted my last fix. So, here it is, a bit late. Even though it arrived early, as usual :)

This is fix number 15 for me and I had said I wanted sequined items. Unfortunately, all the ones I had pinned were more winter/fall items and Kristen wasn't able to find any of them. She did, however, find a few things similar to items I had been asking for. *Just a note* The lighting was really weird the day I was taking my pictures so sorry for the funny faces. I know a few of the pictures look like I'm making a goofy face but I'm just squinting from the sun in my eyes..

Loveappella Haris Bow Detail Knit Top - I love the idea of this shirt and the colors were perfect for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. I really liked this top when I pulled it out of the box but felt it just wasn't working on my once I got it on. I love the bow detail but feel maybe it would be better with a bow on each side or perhaps one in the back. Just didn't love the single bow.
.

Pixley Layda Crochet Top - I know lots of people are raving about this top on the boards right now but I just wasn't feeling it. It felt a bit heavy and bulky with the cami to me. I really did like the crochet detail of the shirt though.

Renee C Alexia Printed Skirt  - I love the bright, bold print of this skirt. It's so fun and leaves it open to so many fun outfit ideas. However, I'm more of a subtle prints or solids kind of girl....

Skies are Blue Bowes Button Down Top - This is a classic chambray shirt. It's super comfy and the perfect length for tucking in.

Everly Jonetta Romper - I'm not gonna lie. When I first seen this, I thought what the heck but once I tried it on, I really liked it. I wasn't too sure about the print as I feel it's a bit older than my taste and it was a bit difficult to get in and out of. Plus it gave a bit of a wedgie when I lifted my arms. However, I did really like it. It was very pretty.

The Breakdown if you’re following along, here is what I decided to keep from my June Stitch Fix shipment: Haris Bow Detail Knit Top from Loveappella -- RETURN, Layda Crochet Top from Pixley  -- RETURN, Alexia Printed Skirt from Renee C-- RETURN,  Bowes Button Down Top from Skies are Blue -- KEEP, Jonetta Romper from Everly -- RETURN

This is probably the least amount of items I've kept from a fix since Kristen has been my stylist. Just goes to show that they can't all be 5/5s but I did still love my 1 item I kept and I still love StitchFix and Kristen. Cant wait till my next fix!!
